Chus Martínez

Chus Martínez is currently Chief Curator at El Museo del Barrio, New York.

She was former Head of Department at Documenta (13) and Member of Core Agent Group.

Previously she was Chief Curator at MACBA, Barcelona (2008-2010), Director of the Frankfurter Kunstverein (2005-2008) and Artistic Director of Sala Rekalde in Bilbao (2002-2005).

Martínez has curated numerous exhibitions including the National Pavilion of Cyprus in 2005 at the Venice Biennale.

In 2010 served as a Curatorial Advisor for the 29th Bienal de Sao Paulo.
