Jesús Ma Carrillo Castillo directs since 2008 the Public Programmes department at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía.
He has a degree in Art History and a Master in History Studies by Warburg Institute of London University.
He did his PhD on History at the King's College of Cambridge University.
He has been visitor researcher at Los Angeles Huntington Library, Brown University in Rhode Island and at the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas Madrid.
Since 1997, is professor at the Art History and Theory department at the Universidad Autónoma in Madrid.
