A Colossal Blog is the narrative of my experience of spending eight months in Rome without seeing the Colosseum. The text is a combination of practicalities of avoiding its sight, a record of anecdotes as a result, and some reflections on the artistic, psychological, philosophical, architectural, historical and spatial implications of not seeing something as present in Roman life as this building.
