All Resistance is Useless is a video documenting a single person demonstrating in a deserted street. A precarious mechanical structure of trolleys and prams carries placards with the words "WE ARE THE PEOPLE", while portable cassette players play the same phrase.
The work was part of Nominal Politics an exhibition presenting a variety of works using performance, video and installation to address questions about the nature of politics, and in particular how 'the political' is constituted, managed and presented today.
