I was not very inspired when titled this sculpture. I liked the suggestion of danger of two things that attract each other but are, due to their similarity, incompatible. Probably this is not that explicit in Tristan and Isolde as, perhaps, in Lancelot and Guinevere, for instance. Now it makes me think of a quote by Schopenhauer to which Lyotard refers in a lecture, about the hedgehogs getting together to protect themselves from cold but keeping distance to do not prick each other.
