It's nothing to do with morals: good or bad doesn't matter. It's just a very primitive impulse and ... I wanna have fun. I'll show you how it works:

I go to video shops in town and become a member. A phone or gas bill is enough to prove your identity.
Voy a los videoclubs de la ciudad y me hago socio. Cualquier factura del teléfono o del gas que consigas sirve para probar cualquier identidad.
Video shops are large-scale information servers that have quite poor security features. With almost nothing you have total access to the system. Then I rent a tape. I have worked with movies like Robocop or Terminator, but I really prefer those that have an author in the classical sense.
Como grandes servidores de información que son los videoclubs tienen una protección más bien pobre. Casi con nada tienes total acceso al sistema. Entonces alquilo una cinta. He operado en cintas como Robocop o Terminator, pero definitivamente prefiero aquellas en las hay un autor en el sentido clásico.

This shot reminds me Magritte's La carte blanche. This confusion with the trees gave me an idea about what to do.
Esta toma me recuerda a La carta blanca, de Magritte. Esta confusión con los árboles me dio una idea acerca de qué hacer.
I'll bring all these trees to the front.
Traeré todos estos árboles al frente.
Then I capture the images in the computer, I make some corrections and swap the scene in the tape.
Entonces capturo las imágenes en el ordenador, hago algunas correcciones y sustituyo la escena en la cinta.
It only remains to erase the evidence and take the tape back to the video shop.
Sólo queda eliminar las huellas y devolver la película al videoclub.
I don't do this for money or fame. I just want people to realise that art is never fixed. I want to imagine that this patient and hidden job will bear some fruit when people watch the movie. I mean what will a filmmaker think, or an artist, a forester or an FX specialist when they watch the scene?
No hago esto por dinero o fama. Sólo quiero que la gente se dé cuenta de que el arte es algo que no está fijado. Quiero imaginar que esta labor paciente y escondida dará sus resultados cuando vean la película. ¿Qué pensará un director de cine, un artista, un ingeniero forestal o un técnico de efectos especiales cuando vean la película?
